Zhige Cecilia Lu (she/her) 
is a Chinese-American artist based in Troy, NY

Her work is interested in non-western practices of medicine and care, local landscapes, and herbal traditions. She often creates installations composed of sculpture, ceramic, organic matter, and participation. 

She is currently curious about the construction of the “wilderness” and alternative models of healing. You can likely find her walking along canals, climbing the ADK high peaks, or making broth for the resistance.
